ABOUT
Our Mission
GEN-C is to help higher education educators teach students how to design business approaches that are not only sustainable, but regenerative. Moving beyond reducing environmental damage and instead supporting practices that restore ecological systems, strengthen communities, and create resilient economic value.
Our Objectives
GEN-C aims to identify barriers to integrating regenerative entrepreneurship into fashion and textile education, co-design a curriculum framework, develop an online course, create an online toolkit, and establish a digital knowledge hub that ensures long-term access and uptake of project results.
GEN-C – Regenerative Entrepreneurship Education is a European collaborative project focused on advancing sustainability and regenerative thinking in entrepreneurship education. The project aims to support higher education institutions in integrating regenerative business principles into teaching and learning practices, particularly within the Fashion and Textile Industry. The GEN-C project responds to the growing need for new educational approaches that prepare students and educators to address global environmental and social challenges. By combining sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurship, the project promotes regenerative thinking that goes beyond traditional sustainability approaches and encourages the creation of nature-positive and socially responsible business models.
Within the project, an international consortium of universities and organizations collaborates to develop innovative educational resources designed to empower educators and students. These resources include a comprehensive curriculum framework, an online learning platform, and a practical teaching toolbox that provides guidance, teaching materials, and case studies for integrating regenerative entrepreneurship into higher education programs.
Through these activities, GEN-C aims to strengthen the capacity of educators, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and support the development of future professionals who are capable of creating sustainable and regenerative economic systems. The project also contributes to increasing awareness of regenerative entrepreneurship across Europe and encourages collaboration between academia, industry, and society. By sharing its outputs, tools, and learning materials through this website, GEN-C provides open access to knowledge that can support educators, researchers, and stakeholders interested in sustainability education and regenerative entrepreneurship.
