Collaboration Across Europe for a More Sustainable Fashion Sector

Addressing environmental challenges in the Fashion and Textile Industry requires collaboration across disciplines, sectors, and countries. No single institution or country can tackle these challenges alone. Instead, meaningful progress depends on collective efforts that combine diverse perspectives, expertise, and experiences.

European collaboration plays a particularly important role in this process. By bringing together universities, research institutions, and innovation organisations from different countries, transnational projects enable the exchange of knowledge and best practices. Such partnerships also allow participants to develop educational resources that are adaptable to different cultural, economic, and environmental contexts.

The GEN-C project reflects this collaborative approach by bringing together partners from multiple European countries with complementary expertise in entrepreneurship education, sustainability research, and educational innovation. Through this partnership, the project aims to develop educational tools that are both academically robust and practically relevant for the fashion and textile sector.

Beyond developing resources, the project also aims to build a community of educators and stakeholders interested in regenerative entrepreneurship. By sharing experiences, engaging with industry partners, and collaborating across borders, the GEN-C consortium seeks to contribute to a broader European movement toward regenerative and sustainable economic systems
